Outage Critical Path Scheduling

During a major outage It is not unusual to have to coordinate a labor workforce of 5 times the normal maintenance staffing and support staff resources on site. The challenges that this presents include:

Pre-Planning a documented work schedule that will minimize the outage duration to maximize production.

Providing a coordination and communication medium that will allow all the support teams (shared tools and cranes, materials management, production, and safety teams, etc.) understand their resource timing to synchronize with the maintenance or capital implementation teams.

Providing a tool that can run what if scheduling scenarios for changes in the planned work and serve as the communication update medium for the accepted changes.
